Item “itemid” is on hold for transactions in sales order/inventory/purchase order on site

while posting sales, purchase or inventory, sometimes you will get alert like this Item “itemid” is on hold for transactions in sales order/inventory on site

it is because the setting on the item is prevent to be sales/purchase/inventory transaction,

how to solve it:

  1. goto product information management –> common –> released product
  2. find itemid in this case, “ST-AE7″
  3. action pane : manage inventory 
  4. click Default Order Settings

if the problem is purchase, tab purchase and uncheck stopped,

it goes same way in inventory or sales order case
